Below you will find information on our sanghas, which meet in Boulder, Denver, Fort Collins, Longmont, Colorado Springs and Morrison. Please email or call the members listed for each sangha for more details on meeting locations and times. Boulder
Spacious Heart Sangha welcomes practitioners of all levels and lineages. We meet every Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Please arrive a few minutes before 7:00 to greet other practitioners and prepare for sitting meditation.

The evening typically consists of 25 minutes of sitting meditation, 10 minutes of walking meditation, another 25 minutes of sitting meditation, followed by one hour of dharma discussion (including readings from Thich Nhat Hanh or various other teachers) and, of course, tea and cookies! Depending on the leader(s) (we rotate leadership among our practitioners), the evening may also include chanting, mindful movement, guided visualization, or other meditative practices.
Please bring your own meditation cushion or bench. (A couple of extra cushions and chairs are available.)
Mountain Stream SanghaOur evening consists of members leading us in: Sitting meditation, approximately 20 minutes, walking meditation, approximately 10 minutes and sitting meditation, approximately 20 minutes. Chairs are provided, or you can bring your own cushion. Dharma discussion is led by members of the Sangha including readings, video of Thich Nhat Hanh’s teachings, poetry, and songs, accompanied by tea and cookies. We meet every Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. No charge–donations welcome.

Sun Mountain Sangha’s new location, beginning Jan. 6, 2015, is at the Tai Chi Association of Colorado Springs in the Trestle Building, 219 W. Colorado Ave., Suite 310, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. We meet every Sunday from 4 to 5:30 pm, for Guided Mediation, Walking Meditation, reading one of the Five Mindfulness Trainings, Silent Meditation, and Dharma Discussion. On the third Sunday of every month, we have a vegetarian potluck, where we bring a dish of our own choosing, and also bring our own tableware and cloth napkin to help preserve the planet. Please arrive a few minutes early to get settled. Cushions and mats or chairs are provided.

The Trestle building is the large tan and white stucco building on the left at the southeast end of the open parking lot. Eyes of Compassion Sangha We meet each Thursday from 7:00 – 9:00 PM. Our format is 20 minutes of sitting meditation / 20 minutes of walking meditation / 20 minutes of sitting meditation, followed by tea meditation and dharma discussion. We often share readings, video and audio dharma talks, and song. We have a wonderfully diverse group of practitioners, some with very little experience, others with many years of sitting. We come from all backgrounds, cultures and ideologies and have been drawn together by the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh. We sit together with the intention of increasing peacefulness and insight in families, our society, and ourselves. Please join us. We welcome newcomers, and basic meditation instruction is offered. Peaceful Heart Sangha began practicing after a retreat with Thay in 2002. We meet on Sundays from 4:00-6:00 PM. Our practice includes sitting and walking meditation, dharma study, mindful eating, and mindful discussion. All those who wish to practice mindfulness are invited to attend, including beginners.

Each Tuesday evening session offers two periods of sitting meditation separated by a short walking meditation, followed by tea, a teaching and a discussion. Beginners and experienced meditators alike are welcome. Join us every Tuesday from 7:00 to 8:45 PM at the Meditation Place, 940 Kimbark St., suite #4 (one block east of Main St. on the southeast corner of Kimbark and 10th Ave.). Meditation instruction for beginners is available at 6:45. All are welcome. Donations are accepted but are not required. Our Sangha practices seated meditation, walking meditation, dharma discussion, readings, tea ceremonies, and guided meditations. We meet every Thursday evening from 7:30-9:00 PM. From I-80 East take the Snowy Range road exit. Turn left under the highway and continue until Snowy Range Road becomes Clark Street. Continue on Clark Street over the bridge until 3rd Street. Take a right on 3rd Street. Take a right on Ivinson Ave (just a few blocks away). Parking is free on the street. There is also a free outdoor parking lot just behind Blossom Yoga.
